산청한의학박물관은 대한민국을 대표하는 한방문화와 전통 한의학을 주제로 한 박물관으로, 한의학의 역사와 철학, 약초문화, 치유의 가치를 현대적으로 전달하는 문화공간입니다. 지리산이 품은 청정한 자연환경 속에 자리한 산청은 예로부터 약초의 고장이자 한의학의 중심지로 알려져 있으며, 자연과 사람이 조화를 이루는 삶의 철학을 오늘날까지 이어오고 있습니다.
박물관은 전시와 교육, 체험을 통해 한의학의 가치를 알리고, 자연과 치유가 공존하는 산청의 문화와 정체성을 다양한 콘텐츠로 소개하고 있습니다.
Project Vision
이번 미디어아트 프로젝트는 산청이 가진 자연과 한의학의 철학을 현대적인 디지털 콘텐츠로 재해석하여, 관람객이 오감으로 경험할 수 있는 몰입형 공간을 구현하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

옛것은 오늘을 잇고, 오늘은 내일을 이어간다.
산청은 오랜 세월 한의학의 지혜를 품어온 곳입니다.
고서와 약장,
약재와 약탕기,
선조들이 남긴 기록과 처방은
시간을 건너 오늘의 한의학으로 이어졌습니다.
소우주는 과거와 현재, 미래가 하나의 흐름으로 연결되는 시간을 표현한 작품입니다.
오래된 공간과 오브제는 빛으로 변화하고,
축적된 지혜는 우주처럼 끝없이 이어집니다.
시간은 사라지는 것이 아니라
다음 세대로 이어지는 생명의 순환입니다.
Overview
The Sancheong Museum of Traditional Korean Medicine is a cultural museum dedicated to the rich heritage of Korean medicine, showcasing its history, philosophy, medicinal herbs, and enduring values of healing through contemporary exhibitions and experiences. Nestled in the pristine natural landscape of Jirisan Mountain, Sancheong has long been recognized as the home of medicinal herbs and one of Korea's most significant centers of traditional Korean medicine. Here, the philosophy of harmony between nature and humanity has been preserved and passed down through generations.
Through exhibitions, educational programs, and interactive experiences, the museum introduces the cultural identity of Sancheong while conveying the timeless wisdom of traditional medicine and the coexistence of nature and healing.
Project Vision
This media art project reinterprets the philosophy of Sancheong's nature and traditional Korean medicine through contemporary digital media, creating an immersive environment where visitors can experience healing with all five senses.

Together, these stories reveal the order of life and the philosophy of healing that have long been rooted in Sancheong, offering visitors a new way to experience its enduring spirit.

古今相續 (Gogeum Sangsok)
The past flows into the present, and the present continues into the future.
For centuries, Sancheong has preserved the wisdom of traditional Korean medicine.
Ancient manuscripts and medicine cabinets,
medicinal herbs and herbal decoction vessels,
the records and prescriptions left by generations of healers—
all have transcended time to become part of today's practice of Korean medicine.
Microcosm is an artwork that visualizes time as a continuous flow, where the past, present, and future are seamlessly connected.
Historic spaces and artifacts are transformed through light,
while accumulated wisdom expands endlessly like the universe.
Time does not simply disappear.
It becomes a living cycle, carrying knowledge and life forward to the next generation.
